After graduating from Waubay High School in 2003, Katy embarked on her professional journey by becoming a certified nurse assistant, demonstrating her innate desire to help others.

In 2011, Katy’s career took an unexpected turn as she entered the insurance industry. She began working for Ken Roerig at Roerig Insurance, initially handling telephone inquiries. When Meyer Insurance acquired Roerig Insurance from Ken in 2012, Katy saw an opportunity for growth and chose to remain with the company. She was thrilled to expand her knowledge and continue providing exceptional service to her valued customers.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Katy finds immense joy in her role as a mother. She proudly chases around her five children, embracing the challenges and blessings that come with raising a large family. Despite the demands of motherhood, Katy actively participates in community service through organizations like Kiwanis, Key Club, and the Webster Area Chamber of Commerce.
